Selah Vision Clinic
Comprehensive Eye Exams

At Selah Vision Clinic, we believe that a thorough eye examination is so much more than the assessment for a good pair of glasses. Blurry vision can also be due to underlying systemic conditions such as poorly controlled high blood pressure, diabetes or neurological disorders. We thoroughly evaluate the function and integrity of your eyes, as well as the health of your visual system for potentially sight-threatening conditions. For example, glaucoma and high blood pressure may cause extensive damage to the eye before overt symptoms arise. Glaucoma evaluation, therefore, is an integral part of our comprehensive exams, as well as a thorough retinal evaluation, which is facilitated by Optomap retinal imaging. We utilize a blend of the latest in technology, as well as what has been tried and proven over time to enable us to better assess and predict ocular and visual dysfunction. We take the time to review these findings with you and make recommendations that best suits your lifestyle and occupational needs.

Optomap

We are proud to announce the addition of Optomap retinal screening technology to our practice. We are concerned about retinal problems including macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinal holes or detachments and systemic diseases such as diabetes, stroke and high blood pressure. These conditions can lead to serious health problems including partial loss of vision or blindness, and often develop without warning and progress with no symptoms. Optomap is fast, easy and comfortable and will not require dilation drops (in most cases), which result in blurred vision and sensitivity to light. For more information, please visit Optomap.com.
